I specialize in guiding nontraditional students: working adults, career changers, and return-to-learners. I offer both ongoing tutoring sessions, as well as focused strategy sessions for self-directed learners to build personalized study plans, accountability systems, and help to identify the best resources for independent success.
Going back to school? You can excel at the MCAT
As a nontraditional incoming medical student, I understand how daunting it can be to start studying for the MCAT after years away from the desk, but I want you to know that it is possible. I scored a 525, studying while working full time and completing my postbacc. Through 1:1 tutoring sessions we will target specific areas of improvement and work through practice problems together in order to master AAMC logic.
With a huge amount of contradictory resources available online, it can be hard to cut through the noise to understand which resources are worth your time and money, and which are not. In my strategy sessions, we will work together to build a study plan that works for you, and incorporates all of the most effective study resources. I understand how hard it can be to fit studying in alongside the requirements of daily life, and will work with you to ensure the plan fits your unique circumstances.
